and why I love Pinterest
Becoming a Pinterest for eCommerce marketer was a mid-life career change. After many years of corporate life, I had a strong desire to become independent and offer my skills and experience to other businesses. This did not happen overnight. For a number of years I juggled teenage daughters, a full-time job and my business, whilst constantly learning new online marketing skills.
I discovered Pinterest in 2012. It was still in it's early days, but it appealed immediately to my sense of creativity. The sheer volume of ideas, the inspiration it generated and the simple way to save my finds in an organized way for current and future projects were an instant hit with me. Since I'm super-organized and also have a creative streak, Pinterest just struck a cord with me.
The more I used it, the more it started to dawn on me that this platform had great marketing potential. And so, for several years now, Pinterest for eCommerce has been at the centre of my professional universe, building up expertise and helping many businesses increase website traffic, get more mailing list subscribers and grow sales with Pinterest.
As a professional consultant with over 25 years of international business, project management and customer relationship experience, I LOVE helping business owners and brands grow website traffic and attract new clients through Pinterest.
I like strong coffee, especially Italian espresso, and sipping a cool glass of rosé on summer evenings. I live and work in France, but was born and brought up in the Netherlands, in the picturesque city of Leiden. My English first name, seemingly pre-destined me to live and work in the UK, whilst marrying a Brit en route. Although we love England, we decided to swap the damp UK climate for the south of France to enjoy life under the sun and work with clients around the globe.
